Terms of Use

Your safety — and the safety of the people around you — comes first. When using TurdTracker you agree to:

• Obey all applicable traffic, pedestrian, cycling, and public-road laws in your jurisdiction.
• Never operate the app while driving, riding, or otherwise in a way that endangers yourself or others.
• Be aware of your surroundings — vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, animals, and uneven terrain.
• Use reflective gear, lights, and weather-appropriate equipment when scooping near roads or at night.

You agree to use the Service only in compliance with all applicable national, state/provincial, and local laws. In particular, you agree that you will not:

• Trespass on private property, restricted land, or any area you are not authorized to enter.
• Violate privacy laws — including photographing, recording, or geotagging people, license plates, homes, or other private information without lawful basis.
• Damage, deface, or interfere with public or private property while using the Service.
• Use the Service to commit, plan, or encourage any unlawful act.

TurdTracker is meant to be playful, not cruel. You agree that you will not use the Service, your profile, your squad, or any content you submit to:

• Mock, harass, bully, threaten, stalk, dox, or defame any individual, whether a public or private person.
• Target, smear, or disparage any business, organization, or property — for example by repeatedly tagging cleanups to imply a specific person or place is responsible for waste.
• Post hateful, discriminatory, sexual, or otherwise harmful content, including in usernames, squad names, mottos, bios, or photos.
• Impersonate another person, squad, or organization.

You are responsible for activity on your account and within any squad you create or captain. Squad captains agree to enforce these Terms within their squad and to remove members who violate them. We may suspend or remove accounts, squads, content, or scores that breach these Terms.

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, profile info, squad info). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the Service. You confirm you have the right to share anything you upload.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for your conduct in the physical world, for injuries, property damage, fines, or legal consequences resulting from your use of the Service, or for the actions of other users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months (which for most users is zero).

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
